    • Description

STABI-LITE electric stabilizer system, Sprinter Class C chassis

STABI-LITE stops a Class B or Class C motorhome leaning when the slide room goes out, and takes nearly all of the sway out of the coach when someone walks around inside it. It is a stabilizer, not a leveller: the legs are motor driven screw jacks rather than hydraulic cylinders, and they steady the coach rather than lift it.

Check fitment before placing an order: email getlevel@eqsystems.us or call EQ Systems at 800-846-9659.

      System advantages

      • Eliminates coach lean when the slide is extended
      • Eliminates nearly all sway resulting from movement inside the coach
      • Clamp style mount, so no welding and no drilling to install
      • Convenient one touch automatic operation
      • Low profile design, so it needs less height than traditional systems
      • Complete system weight under 80 lbs
      • Chassis specific design reduces installation time

      What is in the system

      • A set of two stabilizer jacks and risers
      • Clamping mounts for each stabilizer assembly
      • All necessary mounting hardware
      • Complete system wire harnesses
      • System controller and switch pad

      Harnesses and mounting

The kit includes two controller to motor harnesses at 7 and 12 feet, a 16 foot controller to switch panel harness and an 8 foot controller to battery harness, plus a 40 amp circuit breaker for the battery connection. The controller mounts close to the battery, in a sealed baggage compartment, a cabinet, or under the dash. The switch panel and controller are not weather resistant and must go in protected areas. The motor harnesses are color coded, gray and pink for leg 1 and purple and brown for leg 2, and the controller dials set lifting force per leg, which is how a coach with a slide out is brought to a more level state.

      Safety interlocks

One or more interlocks must be connected so that extend is denied with the ignition key on or the park brake released. Only one is required to disable extension.

      Keeping it working

The leg is a screw jack, so the screw and nut must be kept clean and dry. Wash with a wet rag or mild detergent, never a pressure washer, and do not spray cleaner heavily onto the motor gearbox. Lubricate the pivot points and the screw and nut with a dry film silicone or PTFE spray only. Oily or greasy lubricants attract dirt and cause screw and nut problems.

      Service parts

Leg assembly 7588, about 16 1/2 inches of travel. The Sprinter version mounts with box frame brackets; see the mount spacing print below. Motor and gearbox assembly 6836; the motor is not sold separately from the gearbox.
